From Jan, 2020-June, 2021, I was the email marketing specialist for The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), a nonprofit whose mission is to ensure the widespread adoption of functional medicine which addresses the root causes of disease and dysfunction to promote optimal health and well-being for all.
I created, managed and optimized end-to-end communications (producing over 30 monthly emails) through content-driven campaigns and lead generation to raise the profile of IFM and meet sales goals for programs and events. I also created emails for all educational programs and cohorts, including the quick adoption of a COVID Task Force with links to webinars and resource materials.
IFM's weekly newsletters generated 50% of their revenue, so it was imperative all assets/links functioned properly, lead subject/text stood out to optimize open rates, and adherence to all browser email criteria was maintained, as not to end up in junk mail or flagged as spam.
